primal matter

Primal Matter is inspired by Dimitris Papaioannou's stage works. In the stage art of Dimitris Papaioannou, there are limbs broken, mutilated, and reassembled, due to the effects of optical illusions, anatomical subversions, interlocking, and hiding of limbs stolen from sight. There are dramatic and ironic fights, muscle tears soothed by thoughtful care, sudden attacks with extreme postures; and impact acrobatics, violent, suspended, crawling, The sets for the stage are made of sponge pads, brown paper, trees with roots, animal skulls and stones.
